About this online audio editor

This free multitrack audio editor lets you import several audio files, place them on independent tracks, and edit them visually on a timeline: trim, split, move, duplicate, adjust volume and apply fade in/out. Overlapping clips on the same track are mixed together, and all tracks play back together as a real mix.

When you're done, export the composition as a real WAV file rendered with the Web Audio API — the downloaded file matches what you hear in the preview. Your files are never uploaded: everything runs locally in your browser.

Current limitations: projects are not saved between sessions yet, and deleting a clip always leaves a gap (ripple delete is not available). We're working on project save/load and more effects.

FAQ

Is this a real multitrack editor?
Yes. You can add multiple tracks, place several clips on each one, and they all play back mixed together using the Web Audio API — not just one file at a time.
Do you upload my audio?
No. Everything — decoding, waveform rendering, playback and export — happens locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
What happens to the original files when I trim a clip?
Editing is non-destructive: trimming only changes which part of the original audio is shown, so you can always drag the edges back out again before exporting.
Can I undo changes?
Yes, use Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Y (or Ctrl+Shift+Z) to redo any editing action.
